Studio Policy

ABOUT THE STUDIO POLICY

This policy has been established to assure consistency, continuity of study, and smooth business operation.

Although music study should be entertaining and enjoyable, please bear in mind that there is a serious aspect to it.

Any stipulation or content in this policy is subject to change at anytime. Modifications to the policy shall be considered a binding part of this studio policy and become effective upon receipt or the announced effective date. This policy shall remain in effect for the term of study of the student or until superseded in whole or in part by a new policy or announced changes to this policy.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Each student is allowed to reschedule ONLY 1 lesson per calendar month with a 24 hour notice and a valid reason only by email or WhatsApp. No phone calls please for the same. The student will have to find an alternative slot in the same month. No refunds will be issued for the same.

If there are connectivity issues, or the student falls ill last minute or the student forgets about the lesson, the lesson will be charged. However, I will use that time to make a video lesson and send it to the student. 

Each student can take maximum of 3 weeks off for summer break (May-August), 2 weeks off for winter break (December - January)  and 1 week off for spring break (April) with prior notice.

If a student takes a break from lessons any other time - he/she will lose their time slot and will  have to pay rejoining charges too if they wish to restart.

If the student misses a lesson due to a family emergency (death or hospitalization) of a family member - the student will be refunded or can schedule make-up lesson as per availability.

If the instructor misses/cancels the lesson - the student will be refunded for the same.

ENROLLMENT TERMINATION POLICY

The instructor reserves the right to discontinue a student’s enrollment temporarily or permanently due to lack of effort, frequent absence, delinquent payment, or any other reason.
